ROOTED IN THE TRUTH & LOVE OF CHRISTChristian Classical education for the kingdom of God and the glory of God
A PRE-K-12 HEARTH HOMESCHOOL COMMUNITY LOCATED IN SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN & A CONSULTING & PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FOR SCHOOLS AND HOMESCHOOL GROUPS
What is Classical Education?
Christian Classical education is the cultivation of wisdom and virtue by nourishing the soul on truth, goodness, and beauty by means of the seven liberal arts so that, in Christ, the student is enabled to better know, glorify, and enjoy God.
- THE CIRCE INSTITUTEChristian Classical education is the training of the soul to perceive the Logos (the Truth).
- DR. MATT BIANCOA learning community that blends the warmth and intimacy of home with the structure and fellowship of a school.
Rooted in the idea of the hearth as the heart of the home—a place of gathering, nourishment, and formation—it emphasizes relational, classical, and spiritual education. Families, teachers, and the school, through community, focus on beauty, virtue, wisdom, and wonder.
The hearth school seeks to recover education as deeply human, communal, and spiritual—one that forms the soul around the “fire” of beauty, goodness, and truth.
